Cypress Point Resort

We had the best experience at Cypress Point! The safari was such a fun and unique way to start the day — the whole family absolutely loved it. Afterward, we headed to the steakhouse for our dinner reservation, and everything was top notch from start to finish. Our server, Taylor, was incredible! She was so friendly and knowledgeable, walked us through all the weekend specials, and convinced us to try the Tomahawk steak — hands down one of the best steaks we’ve ever had. To top it all off, the Bananas Foster dessert special was out of this world. If you haven’t been by Cypress Point yet, you’re missing out. Between the safari and the steakhouse, it’s the perfect family experience. And trust me — ask for Taylor to guarantee amazing service!

We look forward to coming to the tavern. Atmosphere is great, the bourbon selection is out of the park. We like to visit when Taylor is behind the bar. She seems to ensure great, speedy service without making you feel rushed at all. Such an intimate setting, with great live music. This place has so much to offer. Get by and check them out, yesterday.

Tia is an amazing staff member! I'm not sure if she is the restaurant manager or what, but God bless her! She was so accommodating to mine & my husband's needs of our dietary restrictions due to some gut issues we've been having, & her kindness & communication has been so amazing!

We visited The Tavern last night for the first time. We were entertained by Anthony Mancel and we were not disappointed! He was awesome! Our waitress, Delaney, was so friendly and accommodating! She was extremely professional and checked on us often. The bartender, Leslie, made me a fantastic smoked spiced pear old fashioned and it was absolutely delicious! We have been to Cypress Point many times, mostly to Cameron's Garage, to catch a Dirt Deacons show, but this was our first time to visit The Tavern for dinner. We are looking forward to another date night there and exceptional service again from Leslie and Delaney. Great job to all of the staff!

Atmosphere is always fantastic. Staff is awesome, food is on par with the atmosphere and the staff. Trey, TayTay (AKA Doordash), Leslie, Bre, Ally and the rest of the team always kill it. The place is always clean and neat. Selection of beverages is by far the best in the area. And that is just the restaurant. The grocery store has so much to offer as well. The butcher counter at the grocery always has great choices at competitive pricing. Whether you need a place to take a date for a nice dinner or a spot to throw a few back and watch the game, this is the place.

We stayed in the cabins and visited the zoo area and it was fantastic! The rooms were clean and way back in the woods so there was no noise. The people were all nice and the store is cute. We didn’t particularly enjoy the outdoor bar, but we had had a long day and were exhausted. The website needs to be updated because the buffet nor steakhouse was open on Sunday night when online said they would be.

Cypress is definitely the place to go for a wonderful atmosphere, great food, family friendly and the staff is amazing!!! The staff is always eager to please and I especially love Taylor!! There is always something for the family especially the safari park and Cameron’s garage is great for football and live music and also live music in the tavern!! You are missing out if you haven’t been to cypress!! Be sure to check out the general store too, the best steaks you can buy!!!

Taylor is hands down one of the best bartenders around! She keeps the drinks flowing, the laughs going, and the whole tavern feeling like home. You can tell she loves what she does! She’s fast, friendly, and always remembers your drink (and probably your story, too). The atmosphere in the tavern when she’s working is unmatched, fun, laid-back, and full of good energy. If you haven’t been in while she’s behind the bar, you’re missing out. Highly recommend stopping by when Taylor’s slinging drinks!
